As we know the Outdoor LED Display will cause some failures after use long time. The outdoor environment like wind and rain, sun and rain weather would influence the display after installed few years.  Once the display won’t work properly, it will greatly affect the efficiency of the use of customers. So what are the maintenance skills in it?

1. Part of black screen or large area black screen

Usually if one or more LED modules not bright, and a few pieces of LED module is black, we call it “part of black screen”. If more areas black we name “large area black screen”. General check the indicator of power supply working, if the indicator not light on, it would be caused from power supply problem, then we need to change a new power supply. Besides, if the indicator light on, we need to check the flat cables whether they are loose or damage. Pull out the cables and connect tight again, if the modules still not working, we consider to change to a new cable.

2. Dead pixel problem

There has several dead pixels on the LED Display, these lamps may dark light or not light on. Generally this problem caused from the led lamp itself, either moisture, or RGB chip damage. Our maintenance skill is very simple, use the tools tweezers to pull out the dead pixel lamp, then put the new led lamp on(Hypervision LED company delivery spare led lamps for each project with the led display together). Use hot air gun to sold the new lamps. After replace the new spare led lamp, test it with the receiving cards, no problem then it’s fixed.

3. “Caterpillar” problem

"Caterpillar" is a metaphorical statement, like the LED display is lighting on and part of the light surface appears a long dark bright strip of the phenomenon, most of the red color. Generally this problem caused from the leakage of drive chip connection pescado. We just need to take a hot air gun along the leakage of this problem drive chip by a new IC chip. 4. Local messy code problem

Local messy code problem is more complicate, refers to the problem when the led display play a messy irregular may randomly flashing color block phenomenon.

Regarding this problem, we generally first check the flat cable connection, you can check whether the cable is burned, whether the Lan cable is loose, and so on. After check the flat cables and Lan cables no problem, we consider to exchange the problem LED Module and neighboring good modules. If the neighboring good modules play properly after change to the problem modules position, then we can determine the problem LED module damage. This problem would be damaged from the IC problems. Then we go to repair the driving IC.
